START-ALLIANCE LLC, AN INDEPENDENT VALUER, PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL VALUATION SERVICES IN MOSCOW AND OTHER RUSSIAN REGIONS

After recent changes in Russian legislation, obtaining a government licence in order to provide professional valuation services is no longer necessary. Instead, now valuers must have membership with one of the self-regulating professional organizations of independent valuers.

All of our valuers are members of the Russian Society of Appraisers (RSA), the biggest and most recognizable professional association of its sort in Russia. Our professional valuation services are provided in full compliance with Russian Federal Law 135-FZ “About Valuation Activity in Russian Federation” and Russian Federal Valuation Standards (FSO 1-3).

The law also requires all Russian valuers to have their liability insured. Our insurer since 2001 is ROSNO, one of the Russian insurance market leaders. In addition to liability insurance, every self-regulating professional organization (in our case, RSA) has its own special fund, called “compensation fund” and is obliged to compensate customers for any losses caused by mistakes of its valuers during valuations.
